Mystery Behind a Dream

The dream itself is a mystery, but hidden behind the dream of many mysteries. Is it true that people can hurt others when he lost in a deep sleep?

During this somnabulisme person or action taken during sleep, known to only limited to babbling (mengingau), walk, or at best to eat while you sleep (Digest November 1982 and April 1993). Many researchers believe similar, somnambulisme occur in phases are not dreaming, or called the stage of REM (rapid eye movement) in which muscle function normally "paralyzed".

Dreams in self-defense
But once found, there are people who do not experience "paralysis" muscles during REM phase so that they act in accordance with their dreams. "People with" irregularities during the phase of REM sleep as it tends to hurt others. This is different from somnambulisme that it tends to harm themselves.

Quite a lot of cases arising from irregularities, even until the occurrence of such cases of murder. Perpetrators can be anyone, even the day-to-day known kind. They unwittingly injure the victim, usually the people close to their loved ones.

Take an example, a woman dreamed that her house fire. But what happened, he really threw her children out the window from upstairs to save them. Another example, a man shot dead his wife while dreaming're dealing with a robber at his home. Something similar happened to a girl 16 years old from Kentucky, USA, who in his nightmare seeing some criminals broke into his home. He immediately acted to take his father's hunting rifle to shoot the criminals. But the action is fatal. His father and younger brother were killed, while his mother seriously wounded.

There is another story similar bitter story of the film script. A police detective forced to interrupt his vacation on the beach to help local law officers investigating a shooting that apparently without motive. The shooting itself took place near the inn, the detective. At the crime scene (the scene), he found footprints that lost a finger .... Instantly he was trembling, he the culprit? Could he do it all in bed when dream of catching criminals, who are frequently he experienced?

What needs to be done later by the investigators, how to prove that the perpetrator acted with the conscious. Therefore, it could be argued any perpetrators of such crimes, "I'm sleeping! I do not know when to do it!"

According to dr. Meir Kryger, chairman of Deviance Sleep Clinic in Winnipeg, Canada, "In the case of true sleep irregularities, the offender can not be responsible for his actions. However, although free from prosecution, he should not be left free to roam until the behavior of deviations of recovery."

More puzzling, a psychiatrist and neurologist found no evidence of mental disorder in criminal cases such as this.
